The Principal on site is responsible for enrolling students in the school as well as placing students in the appropriate class.
The school’s office manager coordinates all procedures and inquiries related to admissions. The school uses OpenApply for its applications.
We do our best to include all students, with no discrimination. Students do not have to be able to speak English in order to enrol at CIS. While attending CIS, students will be expected to learn English and will be given help until they become independent. We wish to promote effective learning, interest in other cultures and global perspectives, and international mindedness.
The school has no deadline for applications. Students may be admitted at any time during the school year, apart from the month of June.
Children’s International School is a private school and school fees will be charged according to state regulations.
The Department of Education has set a maximum level for the school fees. Fees are subject to any changes or conditions that are determined by the Department.
All students that have siblings enrolled at CIS will receive a sibling discount. Any family with financial challenges can contact the school leadership regarding reduced school fees.
A non-refundable signing fee of NOK 1165 will be invoiced shortly after signing the contract. This fee will be deducted from the first instalment for August.
Instalments are due on the 1th of each month.
PYP 1 – MYP 2: 3450 NOK
MYP 3 – MYP 5: 3550 NOK
All fees are per month (11 months). The school fee is averaged for the school year and charged equally every month with the rates listed.
